Money Transfer Legal & Compliance

Last updated: May 2025

R & N Enterprise (Pty) Ltd ("R & N Enterprise") provides money transfer facilitation between India, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. This page explains how we operate, which partners we use, and your legal obligations as a sender. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Nature of our service

R & N Enterprise acts as a remittance facilitation and booking agent. We collect your transfer instructions, verify payment, coordinate payout to your nominated recipient, and provide tracking through your client dashboard. We are not a bank, deposit-taking institution, or cryptocurrency exchange. Funds are not held as a banking product; they are processed for the purpose of completing your instructed transfer.

2. Authorised partners & payout channels

Depending on corridor, amount, recipient cashout method, and operational availability, your transfer may be fulfilled through regulated third-party payment service providers and authorised payout networks, including Transfast, Mukuru, and Western Union, as well as direct bank deposit, PayPal, EcoCash, or USDT wallet settlement where you have selected those methods. The applicable partner and route will be confirmed when we accept your transfer. Each partner operates under its own licence and terms in the relevant jurisdiction.

3. Peer-to-peer and direct settlement

Where an authorised partner channel is unavailable, or where you have chosen an approved bank-to-bank, mobile wallet, or verified account settlement method, payout may be completed through controlled peer-to-peer settlement arranged by our operations team. In such cases: (a) payment is only released after we verify your proof of payment; (b) recipient details are validated before payout; (c) every step is logged against your transfer reference; and (d) settlement follows the same anti-money-laundering and record-keeping standards as partner-routed transfers. We do not support anonymous, unverified, or off-platform transfers.

4. Anti-money laundering (AML) & counter-financing of terrorism (CFT)

We comply with applicable AML/CFT laws in the countries we serve, including South Africa's Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA), POPIA data requirements, and equivalent obligations in India and Zimbabwe where applicable. We may request identity documents, proof of address, source-of-funds information, or purpose of payment before accepting or releasing a transfer. We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or report any transaction that appears suspicious, incomplete, or inconsistent with stated purpose.

5. Know Your Customer (KYC)

Senders and, where required, recipients must provide accurate identification and contact information. False or misleading information may result in cancellation, refund minus fees where permitted, and reporting to relevant authorities. Corporate senders must provide authorised representative details and may be asked for supporting business documentation for high-value or commercial transfers.

6. Sanctions & prohibited use

You may not use our service for transfers to or from sanctioned persons, entities, or countries; for illegal goods or services; for lottery or gambling where prohibited; for unlicensed financial activity; or to structure payments to evade reporting thresholds. We screen transfers against applicable sanctions lists and will block or return funds where required by law. Prohibited use may be reported without prior notice.

7. Exchange rates, fees & transparency

Quoted exchange rates and fees are estimates until your payment is confirmed. Final rates may differ slightly due to market movement or partner pricing. All fees and the estimated receive amount are shown before you submit a request. Our service fee is separate from any third-party partner or bank charges. You are responsible for any receiving-bank or wallet fees on the recipient side unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Your representations

By submitting a transfer you confirm that: you are the lawful owner of funds sent; the transfer is for a legitimate purpose stated in your request; recipient details are correct; you authorise us and our partners to process the transaction; and you have read this policy, our Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy. You indemnify R & N Enterprise (Pty) Ltd against claims arising from false information you provide.

9. Records & audit trail

We retain transfer records, payment proofs, status updates, and communications for regulatory, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes as required by law. Your dashboard reference number must appear on all payments. Transfers without correct references may be delayed pending manual reconciliation.

10. Complaints & regulatory enquiries

For transfer disputes, delays, or compliance questions contact bookings@randnenterprise.org or +27 844 51 4522. We will investigate and respond within our standard service timeframe (2–4 hours for initial response). Serious complaints may be escalated to relevant financial ombud or regulatory bodies in the sender's or recipient's country where applicable.

11. Trademark notice

Transfast, Mukuru, Western Union, PayPal, EcoCash, and other names mentioned on this site are trademarks of their respective owners. R & N Enterprise (Pty) Ltd uses these names only to describe authorised payout services available on certain corridors. We are not sponsored by or officially affiliated with those brands unless expressly stated in writing. No trademark infringement is intended.

12. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection or financial regulations in India or Zimbabwe that apply to your specific transfer. Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under applicable local law.
